Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

On arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, Our representative will meet you and facilitate your transfer to a hotel where you will stay overnight.

 

Day 02: Delhi - Agra(203kms.

On day 2 of the Forts and Palaces of Rajasthan tour, visit Old Delhi and take a tour around its various attractions like Rajghat (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), Jama Masjid, the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. A cycle rickshaw ride through the colorful lanes of Chandni Chowk is another highlight of the tour. Set out on a 4-hour drive to the city of Agra in the afternoon. Home to the ethereal Taj Mahal, Agra is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world today. Stop at Sikandara on the way to explore the grandeur of the Sikandara Fort. On arrival in Agra, check into a hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 03: Agra- Jaipur(253kms.)

Visit the ethereal Taj Mahal in the morning and treat yourself to some breathtaking sights of this beautiful monument. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj is considered to be the greatest tribute to eternal love. Later, you will be taken on a tour to the grand Agra Fort and some of the colorful bazaars of Agra. Set out towards Jaipur in the afternoon, stopping at the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri on the way. On arrival in Jaipur, you will be escorted to your hotel where you will stay overnight.

 

Day 04: Jaipur

As part of the Forts and Palaces of Rajasthan tour, you will be taken on a detailed sightseeing tour around the "pink city" of Jaipur. Built by Sawai Jai Singh in 1727 AD, Jaipur boasts of being the first planned city of India. The city is also home to many attractions like the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Nahargarh Fort, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Amber Fort, City Palace, Turban Museum and so on.

 

Shopping is another interesting activity you can indulge in during you stay in Jaipur. Later, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

 

Day 05: Jaipur - Jodhpur(260kms.)

A seven-hour drive will take you to the royal city of Jodhpur. Check into a hotel on arrival in the afternoon. Rest awhile before proceeding for a half-day tour around Jodhpur. Some of the attractions of this "blue city" include the Mehrangarh Fort, Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal and the Rang Mahal. In the evening, you will be taken around some other interesting places like Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mandore Garden, Fateh Sagar Lake and Saheliyon ki Bari. Later, return for an overnight stay at your hotel in Jodhpur.

 

Day 06: Jodhpur- Jaisalmer(280kms.)

An early morning drive will take you to the desert city of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. Famous for its sand dunes and its annual Desert Festival, Jaisalmer is a popular tourist destination in Rajasthan today. On arrival in Jaisalmer, check into a hotel and relax awhile. In the evening, you will be able to enjoy some breathtaking views of the sun setting over the golden sands of Jaisalmer. Stay overnight at your hotel in Jaisalmer.

 

Day 07: Jaisalmer

As part of the Forts and Palaces of Rajasthan tour, visit the exquisite palaces, forts and havelis of Jaisalmer. Also indulge in an excursion to the famous Sam sand dunes where you can enjoy camel rides and jeep safaris. Besides, you will love to see the golden sun setting over the horizon during your trip to the Sam sand dunes. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 08: Jaisalmer- Bikaner(300kms.)

On day 8 of the Forts and Palaces of Rajasthan tour, drive to Bikaner in the morning. On arrival, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour to the old fort of Bikaner built by Raja Rai Singhji. The Armoury Museum housed in the fort is another important attraction of Bikaner. You will also visit the colorful bazaar for a novel shopping experience to remember. Stay overnight at a hotel in Bikaner.

 

Day 09: Bikaner- Mandawa(160kms.)

Drive to Mandawa in the morning. On arrival, set out to visit some of its villages and see the artworks and wall paintings that adorn the houses. Stay overnight in a hotel in Mandawa.

 

Day 10: Mandawa - Delhi(260kms.)

On the final day of the Forts and Palaces of Rajasthan tour, set out for Delhi in the morning. Visit the Nawalgarh Fort and the Shekhawati Lake on the way before arriving in Delhi in the afternoon.
